With a new year comes new title belts for Ring of Honor Wrestling. Lead announcer Ian Riccaboni revealed three new championship title belt designs during the Monday Ring of Honor Update video on their Youtube page. In all, every title in ring of honor gained an overhaul, including the new ROH World Title debuted at Final Battle, and the upcoming Women of Honor Championship. ROH Final Battle results – 12/15/17 – (Dalton Castle defeats Cody Rhodes for the ROH world title)

Dalton Castle overcame Ring of Honor World Champion Cody at ROH Final Battle to be crowned the new face of the promotion. Cody donned a new appearance, sporting bleached blond hair, but it wasn’t to be his night as he was pinned clean after Castle landed his signature move, the Bangarang. The match saw some interference from Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes, who hit a plancha on Dalton Castle’s boys, but was then ejected from ringside.
