Niki Cross vs Kennedy Lewis 

Before the match begins we get a recap of what happened last week which led to a fatal four way match being announced for the NXT Womens championship at NXT Takeover: San Antonio. Niki Cross gets the win quickly with a swinging neckbreaker.

Backstage interview with No Way Jose. No Way Hose talks about it being a new year and having lots of fun. Kona Reeves walks in and complains to No Way Jose about leaving him back at NXT Takeover:Toronto. No Way Jose says, “Lets go to the ring and either have fun, or fight”

Backstage interview with The Revival (Dash and Dawson) Dash says,”2016 was the year of The Revival and 2017 will be no different.” They also go on to talk about how the NXT Tag Team Championship match between #DIY and The Authors Of Pain should become a triple threat match. TM61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne) interrupts them. Nick Miller says,”You don’t get a title match by moaning and groaning, you get it by earning opportunities”. Dawson says, “Tonight we will cripple you” and hype their match they have against each other tonight and walks off.

Roderick Strong vs Steve Cutler

The story of this match is that Cutler is complaining about how people come and go and he doesn’t get a shot. Cutler is in control for most of the match, until Strong hits a enzigury and a offensive flurry of strikes. Strong hits a sick kick to get the victory. Post match, Roderick Strong says, “He doesn’t care what Andrade Almas has to say about him, he cares about winning the NXT World Championship”

Backstage interview with Ember Moon. Moon says, after the fatal four way match for the NXT Womens championship, she wants to challenge next. Liv Morgan interupts her and says that Morgan and Moon should have a “Scrap” to show William Regal who should be next in line. They shake hands.

Tye Dillinger makes his way to the ring. Dillinger cuts a in-ring promo talking about “What is next for Tye Dillinger” He says he doesn’t know and gets angry at the fact he didn’t become number one contender for the NXT Championship. Sanity interrupts him. Eric Young says that Tye Dillinger could have everything he has ever wanted if he picks the “right friends” Alexander Wolfe gives Tye a “Sanity” Jacket and Tye throws it to the outside of the ring. Eric Young gets into the ring and tells Tye that “He could do it our way and they could let him have everything. He must chose to make it perfect” Tye takes the jacket again and again drops it on the floor. Dillinger takes out Sanity until Big Damo comes out and spears and hits the One Winged Angel on Tye Dillinger. Eric Young then gives Big Damo the jacket and Damo puts it on. Big Damo is now a member of the “Sanity” group.

TM61 (Shane Thorne and Nick Miller) vs The Revival (Dash and Dawson)

The match kicks off with all four men brawling until the action spills down to the floor. The Revival immediately go to work on Shane Thornes knee and cut the ring in half. Nick Miller gets the hot tag, he comes in with lots off offense until Miller rolls up Dawson and gets the surprising three count. Post match The Revival attack TM61 and hit the Shattering Machine on Nick Miller and they hit a double team move on Thorne injuring his left leg.

Next week it is announced that Ember Moon will go one on one with Liv Morgan

William Regal is in the ring for the contract signing for the NXT Championship match at NXT Takeover:San Antonio. Regal brings out Bobby Roode and NXT champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, who both receive fantastic reactions. Bobby Roode says, “Tonights contract signing will have no fighting because it is the biggest money match in NXT history.” Roode puts over Shinsuke Nakamuras accomplishments in NXT, but goes on to disrespect Nakamuras mannerisms and the way he looks. Nakamura says Booby Roode looks like a dog and says he will never change NXT as long as Nakamuras the champion. Roode cuts a passionate promo about being the “It Factor” and how Nakamura is a joke and how he will win the NXT championship at NXT Takeover: San Antonio. Bobby Roode signs the contract. Nakamura says, “You are great, but you will not take the NXT championship from me” They have a intense stare down as the crowd are split fifty, fifty as the show comes to a end.
