Ms. Olympia Results:

Iris Kyle

Iris Kyle set a record last night, no other person, male or female, has ever won the Olympia title 10 times. It’s a record that may never be broken. Kyle announced eariler in the day, that her 10th win will also be her last, as she retires from the sport

Bodybuilding journalist Cassie Smith said:  “Tonight, Iris took her final win looking flawlessly conditioned. Her upper body—especially her back—showed a tremendous amount of detail. To put it simply, she looked amazing. In her post-win interview, Iris said that she would be retiring from the competition stage. Although it’s a sad day for bodybuilding fans everywhere, Iris’s legendary status will still serve as inspiration for many up-and-coming bodybuilders.”

“Bodybuilding is a gift, it is an honor, and it is a privilege,” Iris said to a standing ovation. “Although I’m hanging up my belt, I still want to be an ambassador for the sport and health and fitness.”

Oksana Grishina

The fan favorite, Oksana Grishina, took first place in the Fitness Olympia. Grishina has been wowing crowds for years, but could never quite find her spot against the eight-time champion Adela Garcia. But with Garcia stepping away from the stage this time around, opportunity finally came knocking and Oksana grabbed on with both hands . Grishina’s performance just blew the competition out of the water. “I want to thank my fans,” she said. “You make me do my best.”

Here’s how the top six looked:

  1. Oksana Grishina
  2. Regiane Da Silva
  3. Tanji Johnson
  4. Bethany Cisternino
  5. Myriam Capes

Her comedic aerobics instructor routine morphed into sexy nod to the ever-popular chair dance. Grishina demonstrated incredible balance and control through her movements and, just as did at the Arnold with her pole routine, once again displayed her awesome flexibility.
