Considering it was Labor Day, the expectation was that the numbers for this past Monday night’s episode of Raw would nosedive. However it wasn’t nearly as bad as the pundits expected, especially considering the quality of the show WWE delivered.

Raw drew 3.92 million viewers for all three hours, down just slightly from the 3.97 million it garnered the week before.

The sky isn’t falling, as some doomsayers would have you believe, and the numbers aren’t at all shocking.

However with WWE Network subscribers at that crucial renewal period, WWE needs to put its best foot forward in terms of show quality week after week leading into the upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view.
