WWE wrestler Jack Swagger (Jake Hager) was found guilty of Driving Under the Influence and speeding during a court appearance Tuesday in Mississippi.

A charge of possessing marijuana was dismissed by judge Felicia Dunn-Burke, who sentenced Hager to six months probation, $500 fine, and court costs, according to the Sun Herald newspaper.

Hager avoided a two-day jail sentence, but was ordered to participate in an alcohol/substance education class, according to a TMZ report.

Hager arrived at Gulfport Municipal Court wearing a splint on his right hand and accompanied by three attorneys.

Swagger declined to comment on the case, but addressed the splint: “I severed a tendon in my thumb.”

According to the report, Hager’s attorneys plan to appeal the court’s ruling on Tuesday.

WWE has yet to formally address Hager’s arrest, which occurred on February 19 following a Smackdown taping in Biloxi, Mississippi.
